Safety is a Priority

The University of Northern Colorado is committed to providing the safest possible living, learning and working environment for our students, faculty and staff. 
Sexual misconduct (including sexual harassment and sexual assault) is not simply inappropriate behavior; it is against the law.  When people engage in sexual misconduct against others at UNC, it violates Title IX of the 1972 Education Amendments, which protects against sex discrimination in the educational setting.
The University of Northern Colorado prohibits and will not tolerate sexual misconduct or discrimination that violates federal or state law, or the University’s antidiscrimination policy and grievance procedure.
